SMS-17 series Single splice tape with "Alignment Guide" proved to be effective and reliable at low cost for both Paper and Plastic carrier tapes. This offers a fool proof reference for Splicing joints.
The 8 mm tape is available with a guide. The guide makes it easier to align the splice tape on the SMD carrier tape. The 8 mm tape has a special feature with ends that are cut in a 45 degree angle. This reduces the risk for jams in the component feeder.
Splice Tapes are available in all the dimensions for the carrier tapes
